This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring organization and accessibility.
- Efficiently pick customer orders using scanners and pick lists with high accuracy.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Load and unload trucks, managing the flow of inventory in and out of the center.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate actively in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of products and materials, using proper techniques.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn new processes and operate different types of equipment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
