Our dynamic logistics operation in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a motivated Receiving Clerk. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming shipments. You will be responsible for unloading materials from trucks, checking deliveries against orders, inspecting goods for any damage, and entering received items into our inventory management system. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous warehouse or receiving experience is preferred. A commitment to Safety is non-negotiable, and all staff must adhere to company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves physical tasks, including the frequent Lifting of goods of varying weights, and requires knowledge of proper body mechanics for safe lifting.
