We are hiring an Order Picker to join our thriving warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately and efficiently gathering products for customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to accuracy to ensure our customers receive the correct items. You will navigate the warehouse using scanning technology to locate and retrieve items, contributing directly to the success of our logistics operations. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency is key to maintaining our service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage orders for shipping, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely (if trained and certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and has a strong focus on accuracy. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 lbs. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes is beneficial. This role offers a great chance to contribute to our logistics success.
