Opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Our Logistics center relies on skilled operators like you to keep goods moving efficiently and safely. You will operate forklifts to move pallets, load and unload trailers, and support various warehouse functions. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and you must be proficient in operating various types of forklifts while adhering to all company Safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Transport materials to and from receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any defects or required maintenance.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
