We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and efficiently packed for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate specific items, verifying quantities, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often with time-sensitive demands. Your commitment to following established procedures and maintaining a high level of productivity will be key to your success. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be trained on our inventory management system and best practices for packing various types of goods to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. The role also involves occasional light administrative tasks related to order fulfillment. Understanding and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics chain is an important aspect of this job. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability and a proactive approach to their responsibilities. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists or using a scanner.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing performance targets.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Physical capability for lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow instructions.
