Journeyman Carpenter

General Site Carpenter/ Service work.

You will be responsible for general carpentry including framing, exterior finishing, interior finishing and miscellaneous site work for custom family homes. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• able to read plans and specifications.

• energetic individual and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

• proficient with construction tools.

• may have completed an apprentice and/ or formal training in construction.

• knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry.

• Able to complete tasks with minimal direction

• Uphold quality of workmanship

• Maintain a clean site

• Work toward company goal of maintaining a very high level of customer satisfaction

• general knowledge of residential construction from the ground up

• some client interaction

You will rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and work with minimal supervision.

A valid driver's license and vehicle to get to sites is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• carpentry: 5 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
