In this vital role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients feel revitalized and empowered to live healthier lives.
*Duties*
* Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as but not limited to, deep tissue massage, Swedish, Hotstone, Aroma Therapy, and Prenatal to address specific client needs.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual conditions and goals
* Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiology, and anatomy to foster understanding and ongoing wellness practices
* Maintain detailed treatment records, including medical terminology and patient progress notes, ensuring compliance with licensing standards
* Be able to participate as a team member during combined service visits that include estheticians, nail technicians, and hair stylists to complete spa packages that deliver superior results for our guests.
*Requirements*
* Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing
* Proven experience in massage therapy
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
* Expertise in deep tissue massage, hot-stone, Swedish, and aroma therapy.
* Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members in a professional manner
* Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment
\*\*\*Indeed does not provide the option to include commision in their options. This position is likely commisson-based with optional hourly depending on experience and needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
