Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist
As a valued member of the finance team, the A/R and A/P Specialist, will play a key role in the organizations success. The timely and accurate posting of payments and invoices in our Dynamics ERP system will support the overall accounting operations. If you are looking to grow and apply your skills, and have a drive for personal success, we want to hear from you
Role Functions:
- Manage accounts receivable through various payment receipts, credit processing, and account reconciliations.
- Respond to customer account inquiries for statements and invoices as needed.
- Provide effective account management and assist with resolving issues, through direct interaction with customers and Marlon sales representatives.
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
- Pay key vendors routinely online once invoices are approved.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Accessing customer and vendor portals online to download and gather detailed information related to account transactions.
- Various ad hoc duties as a valuable member of the finance team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is considered an asset.
- Well organized and ability to prioritize work.
- Self starter and be able to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
