Food Production Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various production machinery to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Conduct quality checks on products, identifying and reporting any defects or irregularities
• Follow HACCP guidelines and other food safety procedures at all times
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and recording supplies used
• Support team members in completing daily production targets efficiently
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical issues when necessary

Requirements

• Knowledge of HACCP principles and commitment to food safety standards
• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
• Basic maths skills for measurements, record keeping, and quality checks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
