Automotive Technician

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and changeovers , and fluid checks.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and roadworthiness.
• Perform brake, suspension repairs and replacement.
• Diagnose and complete repairs for check engine lights
• Inspect and repair or replace exhaust systems
• Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure that repairs are complete.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment to identify problems and repair them accurately.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year minimum experience is required
• Own your own tools
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components is required
• Strong willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$40.00 per hour
