Join our bustling warehouse in Huntsville, Alabama as an Order Picker! We are searching for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick orders for our diverse range of clients. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position requires physical dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You will navigate our warehouse using advanced technology and proven methods to select the correct items, contributing significantly to our overall logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products based on order tickets and scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned picking zones.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervision.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and item labels.
- Must be able to perform regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adhering to all guidelines.
- Willingness to use required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work in a dynamic logistics environment.
