Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the overall logistics and operational flow of the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Mechanic, or similar role in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Certification in relevant trade skills is highly desirable.
