We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Detroit, Michigan location. This critical role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficient management of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining precise inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS). Key duties include monitoring stock levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommending adjustments to optimize stock rotation. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring that all items are accurately logged and stored in their designated locations. Strict adherence to all safety procedures is mandatory, including the correct use of PPE . While not primarily a physically demanding role, some Lifting of inventory items may be required. This position demands exceptional analytical skills, a meticulous approach to detail, and proficiency in inventory management software. Understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles is highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
