We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Seattle. Your primary responsibility will be accurately and efficiently picking items for customer orders. This role is crucial to our fulfillment process and contributes directly to our logistics efficiency. Success in this position requires focus, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or other picking equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE , such as safety shoes and vests.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies to supervision.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics flow.
- Follow safe lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE .
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
