We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our Detroit, Michigan warehouse. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management systems. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Your duties will include monitoring stock levels, assisting with receiving and put-away processes, and ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). A key aspect of this role is maintaining a clean, organized, and safe inventory storage environment. You must be proactive in identifying potential issues and working to resolve them efficiently. Adherence to all company policies, including strict compliance with Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. While direct manual handling is less frequent than other warehouse roles, occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs may be required during stock checks or investigations. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our entire logistics network.
