We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Detroit, Michigan. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our logistics department, ensuring that materials are handled with care and precision. The ideal candidate must possess a valid forklift operator certification and have a proven track record of safe operation. You will be expected to perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Adherence to all warehouse safety policies and procedures is mandatory, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform manual tasks, including moderate Lifting, when necessary, is also required. Experience with different types of forklifts is advantageous. You must have excellent spatial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
