*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across diverse clinical settings. As an LPN, you will provide essential nursing support, assist with patient assessments, and ensure the delivery of safe and effective care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
*Duties*
* Perform patient assessments by taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and documenting medical histories accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Administer injections, medications, and treatments.
* Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, and discharge planning.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of medical records and documentation.
* Support infection control practices and aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination in clinical environments such as hospital or long-term care settings.
*Skills*
* Proficiency with EMR
* Experience working in diverse healthcare environments
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to patient assessment and treatment.
* Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration
* Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and medical documentation standards.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while providing compassionate patient care across populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal ventilator management, or patients with developmental disabilities.
