We have a brilliant opportunity for an aspiring sales account manager!
This Sales Support Executive role will enable you to finesse your sales administration experience, while building your knowledge of the pensions, investments and protection sector.
Once you're settled, through your probationary period and powering on all cylinders, we'd like to support you to develop further, so that you can gradually take on your own account management responsibilities.

Role Overview You will be providing essential sales administration and support for an experienced team who sell Ratings, Research Systems and sponsorships into the investment, pensions and protection sector. This role will help the team deliver on their objectives for revenue growth.
What you’ll do
Sales Support: Support and enable your sales team colleagues in terms of sales administration - manage and coordinate bookings, prepare sales reporting, invoices and provide contract support.
Working closely with the team, enable mass client communications.
Design and develop engaging and on-brand sales collateral.
Work with individual members of the Investment Sales Team to deliver ad hoc support as needed and further evolve the Sales Support Role in the context of Investment Sales.
Client Management.
Once you've successfully completed your training and probationary period, your duties and responsibilities will expand into:
Responding to direct client requests.
Exploit new sales opportunities as they present themselves.
Support the evolution of clients in areas of new proposition launches.
What you’ll need to succeed Education
Educated to A-level as a minimum (with GCSE Maths at grade 5 or higher).
A foundation knowledge of Retail Financial Products in the broad areas of Pensions, Investments and Protection is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills.
Reasonable numerical awareness and abilities.
Good foundations in using Microsoft Office tools, in particular with Excel, PowerPoint and CoPilot.
A creative ability - you’ll be helping creating and designing sales assets.
Highly organised, able to multi-task.
Experience
Experience working within a Sales or Marketing Team is required.
Some experience working in Financial Services is beneficial.
Approach to work
Strong attention to detail.
Happy to take the initiative but ask when you’re not sure.
Keen to develop your skills and grow into an account management position.
Comfortable working at pace - delivering on time and accurately.
Focused, happy to take ownership of your work.
Location This is a remote role but from time to time, you may be required to attend client meetings offsite and periodic attendance at the Defaqto offices in either London or Haddenham (Head Office) will be essential.
