Join our fast-paced logistics operations in Chicago, Illinois, as an Order Picker. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision directly impacts our service quality and operational efficiency. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and providing comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and physically capable of handling the demands of the job, which includes significant walking and lifting. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus, but we are keen to train enthusiastic individuals eager to start their career in logistics. You will be expected to utilize our warehouse management system and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting pick lists and order details accurately.
- Locating and selecting specified items throughout the warehouse.
- Scanning items to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
- Ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Consolidating picked items for the packing or staging area.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your work area.
- Adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
