We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing customer orders for shipment. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, carefully packing them into appropriate containers, and ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and correctly. This position requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and a commitment to **Safety** in all aspects of your work. You will be working within a fast-paced **Logistics** environment, utilizing scanning equipment to track inventory and orders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. **Lifting** of items up to a specified weight may be required throughout your shift, and the consistent use of appropriate **PPE** is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere strictly to all **Safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform **Lifting** duties as required, adhering to safe manual handling techniques.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our **Logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Dexterity and attention to detail are crucial.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**.
- Ability to **Lift** up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Commitment to workplace **Safety**.
- Understanding of **Logistics** processes is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
