Our state-of-the-art distribution center in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate. This position is integral to our logistics network, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately from receipt to shipment. As a Distribution Center Associate, your duties will encompass a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and loading. You will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity while working in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are vital for success in this role. We place a significant emphasis on workplace safety ; therefore, all associates must adhere strictly to established safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) at all times. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as Lifting items up to 50 pounds repetitively, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately put away received inventory into designated locations.
- Pick customer orders with precision and speed using scanners.
- Pack products securely for safe transit.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines rigorously.
- Use all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Contribute to achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the use of PPE .
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
