We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced logistics facility in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply chain systems. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs to various warehouse machinery and infrastructure. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety are essential, as you will be working with industrial equipment and upholding stringent safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to contribute to a high-tech logistics environment and ensure peak operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring equipment uptime.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lifting as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety standards and proper PPE usage.
