Our Washington, D.C. facility is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to support our daily operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are handled, stored, and dispatched correctly. You will play a key part in our logistics network, contributing to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, and we expect all team members to uphold these standards. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a can-do attitude and a focus on operational excellence. Experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and inventory.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in stocktakes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse goals and meet deadlines.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
