As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are key to success in this position. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to meet picking quotas.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
