Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy logistics hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is vital for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying contents, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining organized records. We are dedicated to fostering a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
  • Verify contents of incoming deliveries against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers for shipment pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking.
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and logistics procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Commitment to Safety in all aspects of the job is crucial. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is integral to our logistics success.
