Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Verify outgoing shipments against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments processed.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled and prepared for dispatch.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling packages or operating equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative or warehouse role is required. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy logistics environment. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email). Ability to communicate clearly and professionally. While not a physically intensive role, some Lifting may be required (up to 25 lbs). Commitment to Safety standards is essential. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. This role is key to our logistics success.
