Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona? We are seeking skilled individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center, ensuring materials are handled safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to all safety regulations, and contributing to overall warehouse productivity. This is a chance to utilize your expertise in a dynamic logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and into warehouse racking systems.
- Locate, count, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Transport materials to and from production, packing, or shipping areas.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
- Ensure that all merchandise is handled safely and without damage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of safe material handling procedures and warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform Lifting of heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent safety record and awareness.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed footwear.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
