This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists or scanner assignments.
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and scanning.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all designated PPE as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workplace safety and correct usage of PPE .
