Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and supporting receiving and shipping functions. This position requires individuals who are safety-focused, possess excellent operating skills, and have a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. A valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation are essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Assist with put-away, order picking, and replenishment tasks.
- Participate in inventory control processes, such as cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and use required PPE.
Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience. Minimum 1 year of forklift operation in a warehouse or logistics setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE is mandatory.
