We are hiring a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our busy warehouse in Orlando, Florida. This dual role is critical to our **Logistics** flow, ensuring both the efficient arrival of goods and their timely dispatch. You will be responsible for unloading incoming trucks, verifying inventory, inspecting for damage, and preparing outbound shipments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong commitment to **Safety**. Key duties include accurate data entry for incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulous product handling, and maintaining an orderly workspace. This position requires the physical capacity for **Lifting** up to 60 lbs and sustained periods of standing and walking. Working collaboratively with the warehouse team is essential. Compliance with all **Safety** standards and the consistent use of **PPE** (e.g., steel-toed boots, safety vests) are mandatory. Your role is pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Inspect all goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document received items in the inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
