Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise.
- Conduct daily safety checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Transport materials to and from various areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, free from obstructions.
- Support inventory control by moving products to and from storage locations accurately.
- Understand and contribute to the overall logistics efficiency of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is a plus.
