We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our Colorado Springs, Colorado warehouse. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate product placement.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment.
- Support inventory control efforts by accurately moving and staging products.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
- Understand and contribute to efficient logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
