Seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates for our busy distribution center in Detroit, Michigan! As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to meet customer demands. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work with advanced warehouse technology and contribute to the seamless flow of goods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Process and prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and logistics.
- Ensure correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and commitment to following them.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
