Our Orlando, Florida warehouse is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials within the warehouse, ensuring a steady flow of goods for our logistics operations. You will handle a variety of tasks that are critical to maintaining efficiency and Safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and loading areas using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Logistics supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Must be able to wear required PPE , such as safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is a plus.
