We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our team at our Madison, Wisconsin warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential to our daily operations and the overall efficiency of our logistics department. We offer a stable work environment and a competitive hourly wage.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and gather items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize order sheets, scanners, or other technology to identify and locate products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Pack selected items securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Properly wear and use all required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Assist with stocking and inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety regulations and the importance of PPE .
