Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Sacramento, California! This position is fundamental to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that our products move efficiently from our facility to our customers. You will be responsible for a range of warehouse activities, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to **Safety** guidelines and the proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. This role involves frequent **Lifting**, moving, and handling of packages and materials. A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management. You'll work closely with a team to meet daily targets and contribute to the overall success of the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store merchandise in appropriate locations, optimizing space utilization.
- Select and pack customer orders with care and precision.
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for **Logistics** partners.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular checks and system updates.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Strictly follow all **Safety** regulations and wear required **PPE**.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform frequent **Lifting** and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to meet performance goals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
