We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will perform a variety of essential tasks including loading and unloading goods, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that goods move efficiently and accurately through our facility. We place a high priority on safety, and all Warehouse Workers must strictly adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and has a strong willingness to learn and contribute. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Sort, organize, and place inventory in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory checks and stocktaking.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines related to warehouse logistics and safety.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar physical labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting and movement.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
