Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The Inventory Clerk plays a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and that we can efficiently fulfill orders. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of warehouse inventory management systems. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reporting findings to management. A strong commitment to workplace safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all relevant safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. This role is integral to our logistics operations and requires collaboration with various warehouse departments. We value efficiency, accuracy, and a proactive approach to inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track and report on inventory levels, stock rotation, and product expiration dates.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to perform detailed data entry and analysis.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 40 lbs periodically.
- Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
