We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our Atlanta, Georgia team. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring optimal stock levels. Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. This position also requires a commitment to Safety and proper handling of materials, including regular physical tasks and potentially moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations staff to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Identify and report any safety hazards in inventory storage areas.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed to support inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
