Job Summary:
Join our team in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming materials are processed accurately and all outgoing shipments are prepared and dispatched correctly. You will work closely with team members to manage inventory, coordinate with carriers, and maintain a clean and organized facility. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and system updates.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow all Safety protocols.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Logistics processes and inventory management.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining a high level of workplace Safety.
