We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in the packaging industry. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting overall sales growth. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and experience in packaging or a related manufacturing field. Key Responsibilities: Account ownership of all bubble, foam and mailer accounts within the region. Support a portfolio of existing accounts (Tiers 1-4), ensuring high levels of customer retention and share of wallet growth. Identify potential churn/lost accounts and develop plans and tactics to retain or winback business. Work with Account Managers and RSD's to identify largest negative revenue variance accounts YoY and determine action plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for all Tier 5 accounts. Work with field sellers and RSD's to determine best path forward with these accounts. Source and develop new leads through outbound calls, email outreach, and follow-up on marketing-generated inquiries. Qualify all inbound leads prior to Account Manager assignment. Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, pricing proposals, and product information. Collaborate with production, logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and issue resolution. Track sales activities, update leads, pipeline and customer interactions using CRM tools; maintain accurate records and sales forecasts. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and product innovations. Participate in product training sessions and contribute feedback to improve sales strategies. Qualifications: 1-3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or industrial supplies sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to understand technical product details and explain them clearly to customers. Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and email inquiries. Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
