Über

Seaforth Co-operative Children's Centre is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, supporting community services, and contributing to the success of a children's organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage parent billing, invoicing, and payment tracking, including following up on outstanding balances
  • Administer childcare subsidy records and reconcile funding with county remittances
  • Prepare and submit CWELCC reports and required documentation
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including deductions, vacation pay, and benefits
  • Maintain employee financial records, vacation, sick time, and overtime tracking
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors
  • Monitor expenses and support budget tracking and forecasting
  • Manage deposits and record fundraising revenue
  • Support grant applications, renewals, and tracking
  • Attend monthly Board meetings and Annual General Meetings as required
  • Provide general operational and office support as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative or financial roles, preferably in a childcare or non-profit organization
  • Strong experience with payroll and accounting software (QuickBooks, ACCEO, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Experience in childcare or nonprofit environments is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.25-$30.63 per hour

Work Location: In person
