We are looking for a Junior Test Technician to join in our team, which is at the west end of Ottawa (110 Walgreen Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A 1L0). Training will be provided by ABSOPULSE.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform test on switching power supplies (DC/DC and AC/DC) using digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, load bank, PFC meter, as well as various types of analog and digital equipment;

· Perform test on low voltage and high voltage power supplies;

· Test and evaluate performance of prototype and/or production models;

· Record test data accurately;

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

· Ability to follow work instructions

· Ability to work independently or as a part of a team

· Effective communication, verbal and written.

· Fast Learner with strong motivation for self-improvement

· Detail-orientation with excellent organization and time management skills
