We are currently seeking a motivated Associate Criminal Defence Lawyer with 1–5 years of

experience to join our dynamic firm. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your criminal

practice within a collegial, highcalibre environment and work on meaningful, challenging cases

from bail hearings through trial.

What You'll Do

 Manage your own files and appear in court on behalf of clients.

Conduct legal research, draft motions, facta, and other court materials.

 Develop litigation strategies and provide strong advocacy in bail hearings, trials, and

procedural matters.

 Advise clients on legal rights, potential outcomes, and defence options.

 Conduct Trials in both SCJ and OCJ.

Qualifications

 Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree

 Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

 1–5 years of criminal defence experience (call to the bar).

 Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

 Ability to manage files independently and work collaboratively with a team.

 Commitment to excellence in client care and ethical practice.
