Position Overview

We are a growing custom stairs and railings company seeking a Sales & Service Advisor to support our residential and commercial clients from initial consultation through project handoff. This role is a blend of field sales, estimating, and client service, with additional involvement in improving internal sales workflows.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting clients on-site, understands construction or architectural products, and can balance sales performance with strong organization and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales & Project Estimating (Approx. 80%)

  • Conduct on-site client consultations, site visits, and field measurements
  • Develop take-off lists, sketches, and project pricing for stairs and railing systems
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes and proposals
  • Provide product education and design guidance to homeowners, builders, and contractors
  • Coordinate project details between sales, project management, shop, and installation teams
  • Maintain accurate client records, notes, and communications in the CRM
  • Support the sales process through closing and project handoff
  • Perform other related duties as needed

Office-Based Sales Support & Process Improvement (Approx. 20%)

  • Provide showroom support and respond to inbound sales inquiries (calls, emails, walk-ins)
  • Assist with quote refinement and standardization across the sales team
  • Collaborate on workflow and process improvements, including:
  • Sales reporting and pipeline tracking
  • Estimating accuracy and consistency
  • Cross-department workflow alignment
  • Automation and system enhancements using Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Forms, and related too

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in field sales, estimating, construction sales, or home improvement preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable meeting clients on-site and discussing technical project details
  • Ability to read plans, take measurements, and translate site conditions into estimates
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Zoho experience a plus)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites

This role is compensated through a combined base salary and performance-based commission structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $3,500.00 per month
