TIG Welder – Aluminum Castings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled TIG welder with proven experience in welding aluminum castings to join our fast‑paced production environment, where quality and consistency are top priorities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent hand–eye coordination, and the ability to produce clean, structurally sound welds on thin and thick aluminum materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision repair TIG welding on aluminum castings of various shapes and thicknesses
• Prepare and clean parts prior to welding
• Read and interpret job specifications
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards
• Operate grinders, as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines
• Bilingual (English and French) with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years TIG welding experience, specifically on aluminum
• Strong understanding of heat control, filler selection, and casting repair techniques
• Ability to weld thin and thick aluminum with high precision
• Familiarity with common defects in aluminum welding and methods of prevention
• Certification(s) a plus but not required if skill is demonstrated
