Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Communication

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients requiring technical support on deployed equipment and systems.
  • Triages, intakes, and responds to customer inquiries, supports requests, and issues tickets.
  • Maintains strong working relationships with client technical teams, operators, and maintenance personnel.

Engineering Change Management

  • Intakes and documents customer requests for engineering changes or system improvements.
  • Maintains and updates Engineering Change Order (ECO) registers.
  • Collaborates with engineering teams to assess feasibility, scope, and impact.
  • Provides status updates to customers regarding changes.

Service Contract & Quotation Support

  • Manages active service contracts and ensures obligations are met.
  • Works with sales to prepare quotations for service agreements and change requests.
  • Provides technical input to commercial discussions related to service activities.

Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis

  • Intakes customer issue tickets and performs initial investigations.
  • Conducts structured root-cause analysis.
  • Works with engineering teams to create corrective and preventive actions.
  • Validates and tests solutions prior to field deployment.
  • Documents findings and lessons learned.

Field Support & Commissioning

  • Travels to customer sites to support commissioning, testing, and validation.
  • Supports troubleshooting, system modifications, and field trials.
  • Delivers operator and technician training.
  • Gathers field data to support RCA or improvement activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Provides field insights to improve design robustness and reliability.
  • Supports internal process improvements for support, ECO tracking, and issue management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field such as electrical engineering, electrical technologist, mechatronics, electromechanical technology, software controls, or similar program
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Possess a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and valid Passport
  • This role requires regular travel, both locally and internationally, to customer sites for commissioning, training, troubleshooting, and data gathering. MUST be comfortable with short visits to multi-day travel based on project needs.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or control systems.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing queues and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
