Job Summary:
Our Los Angeles, California warehouse is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our stock. This crucial role involves monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock loss. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring the availability of products for our logistics network. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices is essential. Your dedication to accuracy will directly impact our supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Manage the return process and ensure accurate crediting and disposition of returned goods.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
  • Track and manage obsolete, damaged, or expired inventory.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and proper handling.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Experience with barcode scanning technology.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
