The LaFayette Veterinary Clinic is a small animal, 3 doctor practice located in LaFayette, NY. At the Lafayette Veterinary Clinic (LVC) we recognize the importance of the human-animal bond, which is why we aim to educate our clients with the knowledge to play an active part in the compassionate caring of their pet every time they walk through our door or call our office. We have been dedicated to caring, compassionate, high-quality veterinary care since 1994. We specialize in preventive medicine, wellness care, dentistry, diagnostics including radiology, ultrasound, and more.

*Responsibilities/Job Duties*
* Dentistry
* Radiology
* Anesthesia monitoring
* Surgical preparation and assisting
* Patient recovery
* Vaccine protocols and administration
* Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
* In house laboratory work
* Medications and dosing
* Knowledge of common diseases
* Care for hospitalized patients
* Client education
*What We Are Looking For*
* A NYS Veterinary Technician License
* Passion for animal care and client education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but we welcome new grads!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:
* Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
