Concessions & Guest Services Team Member

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Concessions & Guest Services Team Member to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for working in our concession stand, preparing and serving food and beverages in a busy, fast-paced environment.

While concessions will be your main focus, team members are cross-trained in other customer service areas (such as admissions and rentals) as needed to support overall rink operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food service experience who enjoys working in a lively, high-energy setting.

Primary Responsibilities (Concessions-Focused)

• Prepare and serve concession food and beverages efficiently and safely.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards at all times
• Operate concession equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Accurately handle cash and customer transactions
• Stock, rotate, and restock concession items and supplies
• Clean and maintain concession and food prep areas during and after shifts
• Work efficiently during busy sessions, events, and peak rush periods

Cross-Training & Guest Support

• Assist in other customer service areas (rentals & door)
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Support a positive, flexible, team-oriented work environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous food service, concessions, or fast-paced hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during high-volume periods
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail
• Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warm, busy concession area
• Ability to lift and carry supplies as required
• Enjoy working with the public

Employment Details

• Part-time, hourly position
• Hours vary week to week; no guaranteed minimum
• Evenings and weekends.
• Staff uniform provided
• Reports to the Floor Supervisor
• 90-day probationary period

Compensation & Perks

• $15.00/hour, paid twice monthly by direct deposit
• Staff pricing on food and beverages
• Free admission to skate classes and public sessions with a minimum of 10 hours worked per month
